bikeway to Xenia

Rode the Creekside bikeway, from 5th 3th towards Xenia. It’s in fair shape, just before the Fairfield Rd. there a section of ice/snow. The trail is clear, till you get to Orchard Lane, just past there, beginning at the wood pile, the trail, is snow/ice, and hard to ride with 700X23 tiresif you had a MTB you might make it. I made it to the bridge and it got worse east of there. I turned around.

Little Miami Scenic Trail Reopened

The trail is opened now.  I feel that the repairs went well.  I know that the contractor took the time to saw-cut and add a concrete approach to smooth out the bump at the plate on the south end of the Richland Rd. bridge.  Our guys were out today trying to repair some of the planking issues and to smooth out the approach at the north end.  We are still looking at surfacing ideas.  At any rate, I think we’re ready for the weekend.

Watch for debris

Watch of debris of all kinds on the trails.  Most still have a lot from the wind storm.

Two of us were riding along the Jamestown trail, when he ride a stick and lost control and turned sharply into me.  We both crashed pretty hard.  Both of us have class III A/C seperations (shoulder seperations).
