Trail: Xenia Station to Yellow Springs Station

Condition: Most of the trail is clear, but a few stretches have a lot of fairly large twigs on them.

Comment: If you aren’t careful, you’ll wheel hop a lot.  Could also possibly damage a tire.  I kicked some off the trail, but know I missed a lot. Nice day for a ride, though.

South towards Spring Valley

Once you cross Hedges road, it’s getting a little shaggy on the sides - needs mowed.  Look out for some low hanging branches.

Xenia Station to YS Street Fair

Trails: A-OK.  No major debris, despite high winds in area yesterday.
Street Fair:  Busy!  Busiest I’ve seen in years.  Watch out for pedestrians and cars.  Try a vegan energy bar… Yummy!

Update on water and trees

Rode the Creekside, today. The water is gone form the tunnel,at Trebein road, just some mud, left in the bottom. The trail south from Xenia Station, to Spring Valley still has trees on it. Some people are moving them.  Talked to two people who said trees were falling as they was going down the bikeway. The parking lot by the ballfields in Spring Valley is still water covered. They are supposed to get done with the culvert work today I hear.
