Greene County TrailWatches
Xenia to Cedarville
Nice trail. Crews keep this trail just as nice as any other in Greene County.
Caution: There’s one spot about 3/4 way to Cedarville where the trail has been dug up and crushed limestone backfilled. It’s not bad, but could take you by surprise.
Xenia to Spring Valley
There is glass on the path just as you exit Xenia going south towards Spring Valley. Otherwise, the trail is clean and clear to Spring Valley.
Tree Across Trail
Rode Little Miami Scenic Trail this morning. There is a tree across the trail approximately 2 miles South of Spring Valley. Tree is laying across the wooden fences on each side of path; you can actually ride under the tree. Tree is approximately 6 feet above trail. Lots of sticks/twigs on trail.
Tree trimming toward Yellow Springs
A tree trimming crew was out today on the last section of trail before you get to Yellow Springs, coming from Xenia Station. (This section is in between the “Carrigan/Pedalopolis” signs, up from Clifton Rd.)
They had the entire trail blocked, but were watching out for cyclists and would wave you through, but you will probably need to pass on the grass.
