Watch for debris

Watch of debris of all kinds on the trails.  Most still have a lot from the wind storm.

Two of us were riding along the Jamestown trail, when he ride a stick and lost control and turned sharply into me.  We both crashed pretty hard.  Both of us have class III A/C seperations (shoulder seperations).

Greene County Bike Trails

All Greene County trails are open.  The Parks Department has done an outstanding job in removing all of the downed trees.  There is still some debris on the trails.

Backroads detour for LMST

There are a couple of choices for getting around the Trail closure between Hedges and Richland.  One is US 42: take Hedges or Richland east to US 42.  The other uses back roads.  See this link: http://www.bikemap.net/route/82590 for this route.  Either way there’s some winding roads and some steep grades.

In either case, when on the roads obey traffic laws!
