Since fall has arrived, leaves and walnuts are on the trail.  Leaves are difficut to distinguish from walmuts, especially if you are riding with a group.  The danger from walnuts is that hitting one head on may cause loss of control and a crash.  The trail from Xenia Station to Jackson has a number of places with walnut trees and this year has a bumper crop of nuts.

Fairborn’s Wright Brothers’ Huffman Prairie Bikeway will be closed September 21 - October 2 due to construction by Vectren.

Rode Crerekside today 2/15/06, the trail is clear of most of the larger branches,after me and awanabug kicked most of them off the trail on Friday.Today none have returned.There was some new glass on the path,today,a broken brown bottle at the bridge, heading east, near the heat trating plant. Cleaned it up, hope I got it all. So the trail is ready for you to ride. Be careful, have fun
