Great Miami River Recreation Trail Reopens
Dear Friends:
This morning I was informed by an alert reader that the Great Miami River Recreation Trail between West Carrollton and Miamisburg had been reopened by the Miami Conservancy District.
This means you can ride the trail again in the area. Thanks to Miami Conservancy District for getting this completed soonest
Regards to all,

Miami Valley Trail
Trail reopens between West Carr and M’Burg
The section of recreation trail between West Carrollton and Miamisburg has reopened following the reconstruction of more than 1.5 miles of trail.
This was the final section of trail to be reconstructed between Dayton and Miamisburg. Originally built in 1980 using fly-ash, the trail began to develop deep cracks within a few years.
The new section of trail has been widened to 10 feet where possible
Watch for debris
Watch of debris of all kinds on the trails. Most still have a lot from the wind storm.
Two of us were riding along the Jamestown trail, when he ride a stick and lost control and turned sharply into me. We both crashed pretty hard. Both of us have class III A/C seperations (shoulder seperations).
Creekside
Rode Creekside, today, they was cutting the grass. One
mover on each side. One was throwing grass/sticks/on the path. The other was throwing in on the grass. So the bikeway,is covered with grass, small twigs, and cut assoc.
junk. There is also a lot of walnuts dropping on the bikeway, so be careful.Hopely they will blow the bikeway off
with the big blower, before this week-end
