Men working on Creekside

The telephone cable people are out working, on Creekside and
the Old Mill road area. Rode thur there this moring, and they had trucks, and a backhoe, moving, close to the bikeway. There was also a lot of men, walking around and not
looking were they were, going. Had one walk outon the bikeway, just in front of me. So be careful. The rest of the creekside, is clear, without any trouble

Low hanging limb in YS

Just as you get to Yellow Springs via the trail, there’s a low hanging limb blocking the trail.  You may be able to duck under, but probably will be better riding around it in the grass.  I’m sure the crew will be out to take care of it soon, but be careful in the meantime.

Simon Kenton Trail

As of Aug 1, 2008 other than dried leaves on the trail close to Urbana, no problems all the way to Springfield. Apparently branches have been removed. Raspberries are starting to ripen, birds were feasting, two groundhogs noted outside of the trucking school along the trail. Nice ride, used two bottles of Gatorade during round trip.
