The bank restoration project on the south side of Corwin is now complete, and the trail is open.

Since fall has arrived, leaves and walnuts are on the trail.  Leaves are difficut to distinguish from walmuts, especially if you are riding with a group.  The danger from walnuts is that hitting one head on may cause loss of control and a crash.  The trail from Xenia Station to Jackson has a number of places with walnut trees and this year has a bumper crop of nuts.

Fairborn’s Wright Brothers’ Huffman Prairie Bikeway will be closed September 21 - October 2 due to construction by Vectren.

The trail is closed between MM15 & MM16, just on the south side of Corwin.  It is fairly easy to ride around the closure by getting off the trail and riding on the road for about 1/2 mile then getting back on the trail.

The river is encroaching on the trail, so construction equipment being used to repair and reinforce this area is blocking the trail.
