Had a nice ride this morning ,  trail was in good shape.  Only a few going south and lots of north traffic.  Didn’t figure it out until I started back north…....It’s the ride across Ohio.  Maysville, KY to Sandusky, OH.  All of them were on their way from Cincinnati Country Day to Central State today.  On to London and Delaware.  Etc.  Had conversation with a couple on a tandem from western PA and a fellow from Louisville and quite a few others that location never came up.  Stopped at Spring Valley for rest room break and lots were there and 3 actually test rode my bike.  Might have some new converts to ‘bentdom!!
It was a great day to be riding!  Although a wee bit hot.  In the tree canopy, it was tolerable!

Sorry I didn’t see you on the trail.  I rode XOBA this year and riding the trail was a welcome change after the previous day of riding hills from Maysville to Cincinnati in 94F weather and a heat index over 100 gulp

Did you see the Greenspeed recumbent tandem?  We rode with them for a few miles one day.  They lost some of their lower gears but were still able to make it up all the hills.

Yes, I did see them as I was taking a break and we shouted compliments about our bikes back and forth.  Don’t remember if anybody was close to them at the time.  I was awestruck to even see a Greenspeed Tandem!  Oh, I have seen them on the showroom at Hostel Shoppe, but on the trail?.................... big surprise
