Anybody know the condition of the trail from Island Metro Park up to Taylorville Dam to Old Springfield Road.
Also how about South from Island Metro Park to Stewart Street Bridge. Is most of the Bridge construction done and the trail open.
Thanks

A little rant here.
I see 46 people have viewed my question.
No one rides this trail?
No one has any information? Anything would be helpful as I come up from Cincinnati and really enjoy the Dayton trails.
By the way I don’t bite!!

Never been there myself.  I usually ride Creekside and Iron Horse because they are close to home.

Traildogger,
I only ride those trails occasionally and the last time was last year!  But, maybe rtool can chime in here as I know he is all over those trails.  Also, Beverly, can you help out our friend from Cincinnati.  You also might get some info here: http://www.metroparks.org/Alerts.aspx

The last time I was through there was about three weeks ago and all was fine going to Taylorsville Dam.  Only problem usually is when we get lots of rain some portions of the trail North of Rip Rap Park are under water.  Stewart Street bridge area is open and usable.  There are still a couple areas where you need to slow down for some clean up work.

Thanks for your help. I think I will be up to ride this Sunday. Looks like the weather will be good.
I like riding the trails in dayton, they are more varied than the Little Miami trail near me.
Thanks again
