Postponed—Bike To Work Day Pancake Breakfast
Due to poor air quality resulting from the on-going West First Street fire, Five Rivers MetroParks and Drive Less Live More are postponing Friday, May 21st Bike to Work Day pancake breakfast, to be held at the 2nd Street Public Market.

To be held May 27, same time, same station!  See ya there… If I remember.

Great riding weather!

Had a huge pancake that hung over the sides of the plate!  Good food. 

Saw Beverly and met Rtool.  Missed seeing Oldshacker and Bikehead this year.  I took pictures & posted them on Facebook.  I don’t know if you can access them or not, but they are in “Miscellaneous” album of my photos, and I am William Shaneyfelt on FB in case anyone wants to see if they can look at the pictures.

I was just leaving the cluster of bikes and racks as you came in. You took a photo of the bike rack and I was blocked but you did get one of the riders that I had to wait to move so that I can take off on to the street. I was on my MASI fixed gear bike so I know no one saw me. I saw Beverly and Rtool as I road by them as they zoomed by under N Findlay St bridge. Again I know that they also would know know who I was because I was on the MASI.
I just had some cantaloupe this time around. The people were great and my hats-off to the whole Metroparks team for having us over for breakfast.
Overall it was fund to meet other cyclists and see (from a distant) good friends. Now that I am unemployed, have been very busy. But, I have been getting a lot of riding in with my dog in tow now that I have some quality time.

Next year, we, pedalopolis fans ought to get together and promote the site.  I talked to a few folks and none of them had heard of it.  With all the hundreds who attend, it would be really something if only a small percentage joined in our forums.  Lots of good info & interesting stories out there just waiting to be shared!
