I hope no one had to battle their way through Oregonia today for the large motorcycle gathering (1000+).  Did Sturgis get moved to Ohio… LOL!!

We decided to go from South Lebanon to Corwin to avoid the heavier anticipated fair-weather traffic down toward Loveland and Milford.  HA!!! Bad choice!!  We made it Corwin and back, but it was a mess!!!  People were walking 8 or more abreast on the trail in Oregonia and Sheriff’s were using their cruisers on the trail because the roads were jammed with motorcycles… ugh!!!!

Wish we’d seen this on a calendar somewhere!!!

It was the annual hill climb up Devil’s Staircase.  It’s a real motorcycle happening.  This is the first year I didn’t ride through there just to say that I was there!!

I’m kinda surprised that I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere on any of the bike forums that an event this large would make using the LMST difficult and/or hazardous.  I’m just glad we weren’t the family on bikes pulling the child behind.

We tried using the road and the trail through Oregonia.  Both had their own complications.
