Google Maps trick

There’s a new tool in Google Maps.  You can select direction either “By Car” or “Walking.“  Often times, the “Walking” directions will provide you a decent road biking route.  I’m told this is because the Walking programming looks to avoid busier streets.  Give it a try.

Sounds interesting.  I saw it, before but figured it used hiking trails, which are often not suitable for a road bike.

Found another one also. Goto http://www.Michelin.com. It is also
a route planner. In the options, there is one for bikes.
Try it and see how you like it?
