I have been on section, of the trail, but you can see, buy the pictures, it’s
rough. I would only ride it with a fat tire bike. I take off some Saturday or
Sunday morning and explore, the back road and alleys, for faster way to get
around.
I would make a great bikeway from Kettering, Oakwood and maybe
even Centerville. There was a railroad, that use to run from behine my house
in Centerville, across Whipp across Stroop, than it use to cross Dorthy Lane,
down by the city garage, that is the south end of the path, they are talking about in the
newspaper. I ride the old section, that is now being, made into a bike path
in Centerville, which deadends into 675. It’s just grass now, with a lot of
holes and broken glass, and I only ride it with my fat tire bike. It’s a stright
shot from my house to Meijer, viva Hempstead road. And I only ride it in daytime.
If they paved the whole way it would be a super way for, people south of town to
get downtown. They could also pave the old railroad track, that goes past the old libary
on Stroop, down across Dorthy land, thur Delco propery, behine the old Lewis and Michels
warehouse, and join the bikeway, at Woodman drive. There are so many good old train
right of ways, that could be used, I guess money, buying it is the problem. And there no
push, since so few people still drive.
