Each year the GOBA route features a different part of Ohio, traveling through peaceful countryside and stopping at various tourist destinations. Approximately 3,000 cyclists of all ages, from across the country (and outside the U.S.), participate each year. Riders average a 50-mile ride each day over the course of five days, through some of Ohio’s most scenic areas. Cyclists will average a minimum of 238 miles for the week with the potential of a maximum of 389 miles!
http://www.travelersjournal.com/press2.php?ID=5950

I never could make time for GOBA but, it is great to hear the stories from fellow cyclist that had.

Has anyone every participated in this event? I would probably opt for the 21 mile ride that stays on the trail as I would be on my recumbent trike but am kind of curious as to whether the 56 mile route that includes significant mileage on country roads might be recumbent friendly.
